Safety Information

1. Carefully read all instructions. The operator of the product must exercise common sense, caution, and full judgment when assessing situations not covered or cautioned in here.


2. The product is designed for specific applications only. Trailer Valet will not be responsible for issues arising from modifications made onto the device. Do not modify the device or use the device for any application other than its intended purpose. Do not exceed the designated weight limits.


3. All products must be installed and used in strict accordance with provided instructions.


4. Before each use of the product, check for damaged parts. Carefully inspect the device for any part that appears to be damaged to determine if the device will operate properly. Check for alignment and secure mounting of all moving parts. If the device is neither aligned, secured, or both: DO NOT use the device.


5. Ensure safety chains are attached between vehicle and trailer. DO NOT attach chains directly to the hitch. 


6. Do not exceed either the tow vehicle’s rated load or the drop hitch’s capacity rating. 


7.Secure your drop hitch to your receiver with a keylock or hitch pin before departure.


8. When servicing, use only factory replacement parts.


9. The use of gloves is recommended while attaching a device to your trailer.
